Three Medicinal Herbs to Boost Immunity
HemoHIM is
a plant-based complex made by combining herbal ingredients like Angelica Gigas, Cnidium Officinale, and Paeonia Japonica.
How do these three herbal medicines benefit our bodies?
The name “Angelica Gigas,” meaning “I hope you return safely,” originates from ancient Chinese traditions where wives would give Angelica Gigas to their husbands going to war. They believed it would restore energy when they were exhausted. Angelica Gigas is a well-known medicinal plant used extensively in Chinese medicine. It has been recognized for its blood supplement functions, such as controlling and enriching blood and purifying blood, as documented in the "Bencao Gangmu (Compendium of Materia Medica)," the largest drug encyclopedia in China. Additionally, the "Donguibogam" (an encyclopedic medical book completed in 1610 after Heo Jun received a royal commission in 1596 and listed as a UNESCO World Heritage in 2009) records that Angelica Gigas is beneficial for treating gynecological diseases and menstrual irregularities after childbirth.
There is a saying, “If you boil Cnidium Officinale and water the roots of a dying pine tree with it, the tree will come back to life.” Cnidium Officinale is the dried root of a plant called Angelica Polymorpha, a perennial herb in the Apiaceae family. It has warm properties, is non-toxic, and has a spicy and bitter taste. It purifies the blood and is particularly effective in preventing adult diseases such as high blood pressure. It is also used to prevent obesity, soothe pain, and as a tonic. It helps relieve dark spots and freckles by alleviating blood stasis. Along with Angelica Gigas, it is a common herbal medicine in gynecology, widely used to treat anemia, poor circulation, menstrual pain, and dysmenorrhea.
Paeonia Japonica is a plant that grows naturally in the deep mountains of Korea and is also known as the Hambak Flower. The roots are collected in the fall, dried in the sun, and then used as medicine. The flavor is bitter and sour, and its properties are slightly cold. One way to experience its medicinal effects is to grind the well-dried peony finely and take it with water. It can relieve pain in the liver and spleen, help with blood circulation, and gently soothe nerves to relieve stress. It is also effective for menstrual irregularities, menstrual pain, gynecological diseases, cold sweats, and various types of pain.
